Katie Keane

Katie Amanda Keane received her BFA and MFA in Acting, appearing regularly with Shakespeare Orange County. A working actor for over twenty years, she was a series regular on ABC Family’s,“Ruby and the Rockits”, created by and starring music icons Shaun and David Cassidy. Katie has recurred and guest starred on over thirty TV shows including “How I Met Your Mother,” “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” and “Prison Break.” She appeared in the global hit film “My Name is Khan”, starring Shah Rukh Khan, and co-starred in the Blumhouse/Amazon thriller “The Manor”, opposite Oscar-nominee Barbara Hershey.

Katie’s teaching credits include: UCLA’s Professional Program for Acting for the Camera, Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Chapman University, Orange County High School of the Arts, Fairmont Private School, and her own private coaching and acting workshops. She truly loves bringing her industry experience into the classroom. As a young kid who didn’t feel like she was good at anything, theatre classes opened Katie’s eyes to a whole new world. And sheloves nothing more than seeing that same spark ignited in her acting students for the first time.

Meet our Core Educators

Our educators are experienced, thoughtful, and deeply committed to their work.

Each brings a unique background in education, the arts, psychology, or outdoor learning, but they share a common approach: seeing children as individuals, supporting their growth with care, and creating environments where learning feels meaningful and alive.

At Vida, educators are not only teachers. They are guides, observers, and collaborators in each child’s development.
